Filming from a helicopter, Mettler shows how an important nature reserve in Canada is being devoured by immense open-pit mines and smelly smokestacks. Commissioned by Greenpeace, Mettler travelled to Canada's most controversial oil fields - the Alberta Tar Sands, an immense nature reserve. Mettler wholeheartedly takes a stance in his documentary: we are destroying the source of life. The HD photography from the helicopter is stunning.
