Philip Widmann born in West-Berlin in 1980, graduated in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Hamburg and Visual Communications from the University of Fine Arts Hamburg. His works have been shown in art spaces and film festivals. Widmann was artist in residence at Akademie Schloss Solitude in Stuttgart in 2014. In 2015, he is artist in residence at Villa Kamogawa in Kyoto.
